Whale carcass washed ashore near Hana

HANA, Maui (HawaiiNewsNow) – A huge whale carcass first seen on Tuesday washed ashore near Hana. It was found floating off Makaalae and crews from the state Department of Land and Natural Resources were there Thursday to post warning signs.
The carcass could attract sharks, although none were sighted Thursday.
