Wahine Sweep Brigham Young

(Provo, Utah-AP) -- Kim Willoughby had 20 kills and Lily Kahumoku added 11 as the Hawaii women's volleyball team swept Brigham Young 30-23, 30-19, 30-17 in non-conference play Tuesday night in Provo, Utah.

Melissa Villaroman had nine defensive digs, while Willoughy and Kahumoku each had eight.

The Wahine improved to 29-1 on the season. Kimberly Wilson led Brigham Young with nine kills, while Lindsey Metcalf added eight. The Cougars are 14-18 on the year.

Hawaii, which wrapped up its Western Athletic Conference schedule by winning the conference tournament over the weekend, finishes the season Wednesday against Utah.

Hawaii is ranked second in this week's USA Today-American Volleyball Coaches' Association poll. Utah is 24-7 on the season and ranked 24th.
