Wahine Win In Nebraska

(Lincoln, Nebraska-AP) -- The University of Hawaii beat Nebraska 30-25, 25-30, 30-27, 30-21 Saturday night to win the NCAA women's volleyball Central Regional.

The Rainbow Wahine advance to the national semifinals in New Orleans. On Thursday, they will face Stanford, the only team to defeat Hawaii this season.

Lily Kahumoku and Kim Willoughby had 25 kills apiece to lead Hawaii over Nebraska.

The loss ended a 29-match winning streak and 63 straight victories at home for the Cornhuskers.
