(Honolulu-AP) -- The University of Hawaii women's basketball team held Boise State to 13 points in the first half and went on to beat the Broncos 62-44 Saturday night in Honolulu.
Christen Roper and Kim Willoughby led the Rainbow Wahine with 17 and 14 points, respectively. Teammate Natasja Allen had a game-high ten rebounds.
The Rainbow Wahine held a 30-13 lead at halftime. They hit 24 of their 55 shots for the game, while Boise State was 14 of 16.
Hawaii also dominated on the boards, grabbing 48 rebounds to Boise State's 30.
The Rainbow Wahine improved to 8-3 overall and 2-0 in the Western Athletic Conference. Boise State is now 3-9 and 0-2.
