(Fresno, California-AP) -- Fresno State edged the University of Hawaii 56-55 in men's basketball action Thursday night in California. Damon Jackson's layup with ten seconds left lifted the Bulldogs to victory.
Following a time-out, Hawaii's Carl English missed a 17-foot jumper with two seconds to go. Neither team could secure the rebound before the buzzer sounded.
English led all scorers with 19 points despite shooting 6-18 from the field.
The Rainbow Warriors dropped to 11-4 overall and 4-3 in the Western Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs improved to 14-3 and 7-1.
