Hawaii Baseball Opens Season With Win Over UCLA

(Honolulu-AP) -- The University of Hawaii opened its baseball season Friday night at home with an 11-5 victory over UCLA. Christopher George gave up five runs in the first two inning, but retried the final 16 batters he faced to pick up the Rainbow win.

Hawaii's Issac Omura went 3-4 with four RBI's in his first collegiate game. His three-run triple in the bottom of the fifth inning put the Rainbows up 10-5.

Teammate Brian Bock was 3-5 with two RBI's. The Bruins' record dropped to 2-3.
