(Honolulu-AP) -- The University of Hawaii scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday to edge Sacramento State, 8-7, for a sweep of their three-game baseball series.
Sacramento State pitchers walked in two runs to tie the score at seven before Joshua Green drove in the game-winning run on an infield single.
Brian Finegan went 3 for 3 with two doubles, two R.B.I's, a run scored and three walks for Hawaii (6-1), while teammate Rocky Russo was 4 for 5 with a double, an R.B.I and two runs scored. Green was 2 for 5 with two R.B.I's.
Mike Peck pitched one inning of relief to earn the win. Reliever Andy Mohr took the loss for Sacramento State.
The Rainbows improved to 6-1. The Hornets are now 5-4.
