Bows Drop One To Fresno State

(Fresno, California-AP) -- The University of Hawaii baseball Rainbows lost to Fresno State Friday night 6-3 in the Western Athletic Conference for both teams. Ryan Haag drove in three runs and Casey McGehee had a solo homer as the Bulldogs improved to 5-11.

Schafer Magana had a two-run single for Hawaii with the Rainbows falling to 11-4. The loss went to starter Chris George. He gave up five earned runs before being pulled in the third.

The three-game mainland series continues Saturday and ends Sunday.
