Baseball Bows Battle Back To Beat Fresno State

(Fresno, California-AP) -- The University of Hawaii baseball Rainbows beat Fresno State 13-8 Saturday on the mainland.

Andrew Sansaver drove in four runs and Jaziel Mendoza hit a three-run homer for Hawaii.

Brent Cook and Brian Bock also homered for the Rainbows as they improved to 12-4 overall and 1-1 in the Western Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs dropped to 5-12 and 1-1.

Three Hawaii pitchers gave up 17 hits, while Fresno State sent eight pitchers to the mound, allowing 16 hits.

The series is tied 1-1 going into tomorrow's finale.
