Warriors Fall Short In Tulsa

(Tulsa, Oklahoma-AP) -- The University of Hawaii men's basketball team fell to Tulsa 66-56 in Friday's semifinals of the Western Athletic Conference tournament.

Carl English, the WAC's leading scorer, scored 33 points for Hawaii. But the Rainbow Warriors made just 27 percent of their shots and committed nine turnovers before halftime while going to the free-throw line just once.

It was Hawaii's tenth loss in 13 games played on the road this season.
