(Honolulu-AP) -- The University of Hawaii baseball Rainbows defeated the University of Hawaii-Hilo 12-4 Wednesday night to complete a four-game season sweep of the Vulcans. The Rainbows scored a run on a wild pitch, another on a balk and a third on a hit batter. Hawaii took a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. Brent Cook and Rocky Russo each hit an RBI double, Tim Montgomery had an RBI triple and Isaac Omura drove in a run on a groundout. The Rainbows went up 8-0 in the second on Brian Finegan's double, Andrew Sansaver's single, Cook's sacrifice fly and a single by Montgomery. The Vulcans battled back with three runs in the top of the third. The first came on a hit batter before Scott McLaughlin's sacrifice fly. The third scored on a wild pitch.
