(Honolulu-AP) -- Undefeated Brian Viloria gave the home crowd a good performance last night, stopping Valentin Leon in the eighth round of their flyweight bout in Honolulu. The "Hawaiian Punch" dominated from the opening bell, flooring his opponent every round from the third through the seventh. The boxer from Waipahu ended it eight seconds into the eighth round, landing a big right to the head that prompted the referee to stop the bout. Viloria, ranked Number Five by the WBC and Number Six by the WBO, improved to 12-0 with seven knockouts. Leon of Mexico City fell to 14-6 with six K-O's.
