(Honolulu-AP) -- Third-seeded University of Hawaii swept sixth-seeded Pacific 37-35, 30-27, 30-27 Saturday night to make it into the semifinals of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men's volleyball tournament.
The Warriors will face second-seeded Brigham Young on Thursday night at Pepperdine.
BYU bested seventh-seeded Cal State-Northridge in an earlier game on Saturday.
Hawaii is ranked second in the USA Today/American Volleyball Coaches Association's Top 15 Poll. Pacific is ranked seventh.
Top-seeded Pepperdine will be hosting the semifinals and finals after beating eighth-seeded Long Beach State Saturday.
The Waves will meet fifth-seeded UC Irvine, which defeated fourth-seeded Stanford in the first round.
The MPSF championship match will be played next Saturday night.
The winner will earn the league's automatic berth to the four-team NCAA Championships, set to begin May first in Long Beach, California.
