Baseball Bows Drop Second Game

(Reno, Nevada-AP) -- Nevada defeated the University of Hawaii 10-5 Saturday to take a 2-0 lead in their three-game series baseball series.

Kevin Kauzmanoff and Jacob Butler each had a two-run homer for the Wolf Pack.

It started well enough for the Rainbows.

Brian Finegan led off the top of the first inning with a home run, and Jaziel Mendoza and Matthew Inouye hit RBI singles later in the inning to put Hawaii up 3-0.

But the Wolf Pack scored six runs in the second, with Kauzmanoff's two-run double capping the rally. Kauzmanoff's homer in the fourth put Nevada up 8-3, and Butler's homer ended the scoring in the bottom of the seventh.
