(Honolulu-AP) -- Jon Lockwood pitched a complete game for Louisiana Tech Fiday night as the Bulldogs beat the University of Hawaii baseball Rainbows 3-1. Lockwood gave up just three hits and one walk while striking out four to help Tech improve to 17-29-1 overall and 9-16 in the Western Athletic Conference. The Rainbows fell to 26-24 and 7-18.
The scored their only run in the opener of the three-game series in the sixth inning. Joshua Green reached on an error, advanced to second on a single by Isaac Omura and made it to third when Brian Finegan grounded out. Green scored on Andrew Sansaver's groundout. The Bulldogs scored all of their runs and collected eleven of their 12 hits off Hawaii starter Ricky Bauer. He struck out two and walked none over six and one-third innings.
