(Honolulu-AP) -- Although the season ended with a loss, Hawaii baseball coach Mike Trapasso says he's pleased with how his second year as coach of the Rainbows turned out. The Rainbows finished the year at 30-26 with an 11-19 record in Western Athletic Conference play. That's a 14-game turnaround from a year ago that was good enough for fourth place in the six-team WAC. Hawaii finished in last place a year ago. Trapasso says goals for the future will be higher, but says this year's season shows that the program has turned the corner and is headed in the right direction.
