Lelie Expecting Larger Role In Denver's Offense

(Denver-AP) -- With one year of pro football under his belt, former Hawaii wide receiver Ashley Lelie says he's more confident and expects to have a bigger role in the Denver Broncos' offense this season.

Lelie, who finished last season with 35 catches for 525 yards and two touchdowns, is wrapping up a six-day minicamp with the team this week.

Lelie is expected to be the third receiver behind Rod Smith and Ed McCaffrey again, but he has worked mostly with the first group over the past two minicamps with McCaffrey still out after groin surgery in March.
