In 10th grade Danny Fuller told a teacher that "high school was a joke." He decided to home school himself and move to the North Shore of Oahu where his father is a lifeguard.
When, at the age of 19, Fuller made it into the semis of the Pipeline Masters he felt vindicated in his life choices. He may not be as competitive as other surfers but his instinct for finding a killer wave and a killer party has given him a name on the circuit. He received a piece of land in Tahiti in return for some favors to a friend and plans to build a house.
