MILILANI (KFVE) – This week's Cheap Eats is at a tiny little place with only one table, and a line out the door. Russ and Lyle are in Mililani at Rajanee Thai Cuisine. Located in the Mililani Shopping Center behind First Hawaiian Bank, Rajanee is tucked away but definitely worth finding.
"April, what is that you've got in front of you?" Lyle asks.
"This is spicy eggplant!" April replies.
"Now you told us, we had to come here. Why?"
"You have to come here, because the service is great, Kenny is awesome, the servings are humongous, and it's more food than anybody should eat alone! (laughs)"
Rajanee in Mililani is a tiny place with big servings. Their pad thai chicken is only eight dollars and their green papaya salad is only five dollars. If you're in the mood for rolls, Rajanee has got you covered. Their spring roll is deep fried with noodles and an assortment of vegetables and their summer roll is big and colorful. If you're looking for something a little heartier, you can have one of their specials like the battered filet of sole with thai sweet-sour sauce for only ten dollars.
Russel has the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and Lyle has the battered fish with basil chili sauce. The boys are at Rajanee Thai Cusine, this week's Cheap Eats.
