HONOLULU (KFVE) -- The name says it all on this week's Cheap Eats. Russ and Lyle are on the move, in the Keeaumoku area, at a lunch truck called Ono To Go. And the food, like the name, is ono! This lunch truck is parked in a lot at the corner of Sheridan and Makaloa Streets.
It's hard to believe that the good eats come out of a little truck in a parking lot. Ono To Go has a set menu that includes dishes like their Ono Poke Bowl combo with poke, kalua pig and cabbage, mac salad over a bed of rice.
Their specials change from day-to-day, great dishes like furikaki salmon or vegetable medley. Another great special is the pork chop plate lunch, a thick cut with brown rice and green salad. Great food and great variety is what you'll find at Ono To Go.
You can follow Ono To Go on Twitter and Facebook to learn about their daily specials like Wendy Watanabe of Mililani Mauka.
"The food is fresh. It's delicious, high quality, awesome!"
Russ has the teri beef-teri chicken combo and Lyle goes with the pulehu short ribs. It's all in the name and Ono To Go has the right stuff on this week's Cheap Eats."
