HONOLULU (KFVE) - This week Augie and Hagi visit Spot's Inn right in Puck's Alley on University Avenue. At Spot's Inn, fresh is an understatement. The beef is cut daily, the hamburger is ground daily and the nice cuts of meat to make kal bi is mixed in the morning and the Mahi Mahi is so fresh you can eat it raw. Other popular selections at Spot's Inn are the Loco Moco, Fresh Corned Beef and Chicken katsu. Add that over three eggs and gravy to make one of the biggest Loco Moco's around. Spot's Inn also serves up one of the best Wagyu Beef steaks that's soaked in sake, which explains why it's so tender. Other notables are their boneless kalbi kimchee bowl, teriyaki cheeseburger and their specialty, Shortrib beef stew. Visit Spot's Inn the next time you're in the University area.
