Ka Pā Hula O Kauanoe O Waʻahila (Wahine)

Often called "Ke Aliʻi Makaʻāinana" or "Prince of the people," Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole was elected Hawaiʻi's delegate to Congress in 1902. In 1918 he introduced legislation which established homesteads for Hawaiian families. In this name chant, Kūhiō's skill as a horseman and his role in founding a riding club are praised as well.
