(Honolulu-AP) -- University of Hawaii volleyball player Kim Willoughby has been named the Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.
The six-foot sophomore left side hitter led Hawaii to two victories over Santa Clara over the weekend. She tallied 51 kills on 120 attempts and 15 errors for a point-300 hitting percentage for the week.
On Saturday, Willoughby tallied a team-high 16 kills against 20th-ranked Santa Clara. She also had eight digs, two service aces and two block assists. Willoughby currently leads the WAC in kills. She ranks fourth in digs and tenth in hitting percentage.
Willoughby is from Napolenoville, Louisiana.
