The football team is trying to bounce back after the disappointing loss to Nevada on Saturday. One of the problems Hawaii faced in Reno was stopping the run. And this week against Rice the Warriors have their work cut out for them.
The Owls bread and butter is the option. Last season against the Warriors Rice ran the ball 69 times racking up 315 yards on the ground. The Owls won that game in Houston 38-13. Hawaii knows they need to stop the run in order to have a chance at winning.
