(Honolulu-AP) -- The University of Hawaii men's basketball remains atop the Western Athletic Conference standings after a 67-56 victory last night over Boise State.
The 18-3 Rainbow Warriors are now 9-1 in the WAC, one game ahead of Tulsa.
Predrag Savovic scored 20 points and reserves Mike McIntyre and Mindaugas Burneika combined for an additional 24 to lead UH.
Although it was a double-digit win, the outcome wasn't decided until the final three minutes when the Rainbow Warriors converted 14 of 18 free throws.
Abe Jackson had 21 points to lead Boise State, which fell to 8-and-12 overall and 2-and-8 in the WAC.
