No. 2 Florida Too Much For Hawaii

(Honolulu-AP) -- Michael Futrell had a solo homer and a two-run double last night to lead Number Two Florida State over the University of Hawaii 7-to-4.

Futrell's homer in the four inning proved to be the winning run for the 5-and-1 Seminoles. Florida State had scored all of its runs by the time the Rainbows scored all four of their runs in the eighth inning on doubles by Grady Symonds and Kevin Gilbride and ground outs by Chad Boudon and Lane Nogawa.

Florida State holds a 2-1 lead in the series going into today's finale.
