Bows Gain Critical 20th Win

The Rainbow Warrior basketball team is off to it's best start under head coach Riley Wallace. The Bows, reaching a benchmark win on Thursday night.

The goal most teams shoot for is 20 wins in a season. The Bows have reached that mark, three times under Riley Wallace. Thursday night, the guys in green, on the road at SMU with 19 in their pocket, looking for win number 20.

At Moody Coliseum, the fans dress funny. But for Coach Wallace, the game was no laughing matter. He was all business. His team, leading most of the way against the Mustangs.

Predrag Savovic, his usual self. He had a game high 29. Also 5 assists. Carl English threw in 21, as a total of 4 Rainbows hit for double figures.

85-76 is your final. And folks, if you haven't hopped on the Rainbow bandwagon yet, get onboard because this team is for real. They are 11-1 in WAC play, more important, they get the big 20th win against just 3 losses.

The Bows head to La Tech on Saturday, February 9th.
