The Warrior basketball team suffered its second conference loss on the road Saturday at the hands of Louisiana Tech, 61-57.
Louisiana Tech came from a 29-24 half time deficit and shot just 35 percent from the field in the victory. The Bulldogs warmed in the second, hitting 48 percent from the field and 12-of-15 free throws.
The Bulldogs have now won six straight in the WAC and remain in third place, while the Rainbows are still in first place, a game and a half ahead of Tech.
Hawaii falls to 11-2 in the conference and 20-4 overall. Pedrag Savovic scored 22 for Hawaii and Carl English had 18.
