(Honolulu-AP) -- Cortland Wilson homered and Arthur Guillen had a two-run double as the University of Hawaii beat UCLA 6-4 last night in the opener of their three-game baseball series. Bryan Lee pitched eight complete innings to get the win. He allowed two runs on ten hits and no walks while striking out four. Guillen's double in the second inning gave the Rainbows a 2-1 lead.
UCLA tied the score 2-2 in the fourth on a solo homer by Adam Berry. An RBI sacrifice fly by Gregg Omori in the fifth gave Hawaii a 4-2 lead before the Rainbows scored three runs in the sixth on Wilson's homer, Brian Bock's double and Brent Cook's single. Hawaii improved to 3-5, while UCLA dropped to 7-and-4.
