Bows Win Thriller Against Tulsa

(Honolulu-AP) -- The University of Hawaii men's basketball team edged Tulsa 86-to-85 last night. The Rainbow Warriors secured the win when Mark Campbell hit a free throw with two-point-nine seconds left. With the victory, Hawaii moved a half game out in front of Tulsa for the lead of the Western Athletic Conference standings. Carl English scored 28 points and Predrag Savovic added 27 for U-H. The game at the Stan Sheriff Center was watched by nine-thousand-669 rowdy fans -- Hawaii's first sell-out in four years.
