(Fresno, California-AP) -- The University of Hawaii women's basketball team beat Fresno State last night on the mainland by a score of 66-47. Christa Brossman had 14 points and Kim Willoughby grabbed eleven rebounds to lead the Wahine.
They are now 18-and-6 overall and 11-and-4 in the Western Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs dropped to 9-and-16 and 4-and-11. Aritta Lane led the Bulldogs with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Brossman and Lane were the only players to score in double figures.
The Wahine shot 52 percent from the field in the first half on the way to taking 18-point lead, 38-20, at intermission. For the game, U-H shot 46 percent, while Fresno State shot 28 percent. The Wahine are set to continue their road trip tomorrow afternoon at Nevada.
