(Honolulu-AP) -- The University of Hawaii men's basketball team scored a 79-to-50 victory over Rice last night to remain atop the Western Athletic Conference. Carl English scored 21 points, including 15 from 3-point range, to lead the Rainbow Warriors. U-H has won 12 straight home games and holds its best record in 30 years. Predrag Savovic became Hawaii's career 3-point leader by hitting two shots from behind the arc. He has 162 3-pointers, breaking Alika Smith's mark of 161. The game marked the final appearance at home for seniors Savovic, Mindaugas Burneika and Mike McIntyre. Hawaii has two games left in the regular season, both on the road.
