(Honolulu-AP) -- Karena Greeny had eleven points and eight rebounds to lead the University of Hawaii basketball Wahine to a 64-48 Western Athletic Conference victory over Texas-El Paso last night.
The Wahine shot 44 percent from the field, while the Miners shot 35 percent. U-H led 31-21 at intermission, and then extended its lead during the second half. Kim Willoughby and Natasja Allen had ten points apiece for the Wahine, who improved to 20-and-6 overall and 13-and-4 in the WAC. UTEP fell to 3-and-23 and 1-and-16.
