Bows Set Their Sights On WAC Tourney

English and the Bows now head to Tulsa for this weeks WAC tournament. And if you missed it Saturday night. Hawaii pulled out the win over Fresno State 82 to 79. English with his 33 points was joined by Mike McIntyre and his career high 27. And that was without Savo who sat out the entire game with back spasms. They hope to have him healthy this week.

The win gave the Bows the top seed in the tournament and with that comes benefits.

"It's great, the No. 1 seed. We get to relax and get a few practices under our belt to prepare. We have a easy road there and that's what we wanted. We just have to capitalize and come ready. It's the beginning of a journey and we have to be ready. I expect nothing but the same thing, a great run," said Mike McIntyre.

Phil Martin said he wants to, "Come home with a couple rings. We're looking forward to it."

Here's what the WAC tournament bracket looks like. The Bows don't play until Thursday. And as the top seed they'll take on the winner of the bottom two teams in the conference, Rice or San Jose State. And the winner at the end gets an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.
