(Hilo-AP) -- The University of Hawaii-Hilo baseball Vulcans beat the University of Hawaii twice last night, starting with a 10-9 victory in a game suspended in the 12th inning Friday night because of rain.
Johnny Dudoit's double to center field drove in Darren Chu with the winning run in the bottom of the inning. Dudoit had a three-run homer in the eighth to tie the score 9-9. He ended the game with five R-B-I's.
The Vulcans won the scheduled game 6-4, with Kaliko Oligo driving in four runs. His bases-loaded triple in the sixth inning came before Douglas Nassimbene's R-B-I sacrifice fly, which put Hilo up 6-1.
The Rainbow Warriors scored three runs in the seventh on a bases-loaded walk and a two-run single by Scooter Martines, but could get no closer. The teams are set to end their four-game series with a doubleheader today.
