(Honolulu-AP) -- The Rainbow Easter Tournament continued last night with the University of Hawaii beating Hawaii Pacific University 14-to-4 in seven innings. The game was called because of the ten-run rule.
There were two rain delays before the game started and then another delay in the bottom of the fourth inning. After play resumed, the Rainbows scored five runs in the fourth and added seven in the fifth. UH closed out the scoring in the seventh on R-B-I hits by Gregg Omori and Kevin Gilbride.
In earlier games, San Jose State blanked Birmingham-Southern 12-to-0 and U-C-Riverside beat Lewis-Clark State 7-to-4.
