Hawaii Completes Sweep Of UCLA In Convincing Fashion

(Honolulu-AP) -- The third-ranked University of Hawaii men's volleyball team upset second-ranked UCLA for the second night in a row last night, beating the Bruins 30-19, 30-20, 30-20.

Costas Theocharidis had 14 kills and Hawaii's only service ace. Tony Ching and Delano Thomas followed with eleven kills apiece. Matt Komer had 13 kills for UCLA.

The two-match sweep boosted the Warriors' Mountain Pacific Sports Federation record to 16-and-4. They are 19-and-6 overall.

UCLA dropped to 15-and-5 in the league and 23-and-6 on the season. Hawaii closes out its regular season at home next Friday and Saturday with matches against Brigham Young.
