(Honolulu-AP) -- The University of Hawaii baseball Rainbows ended their five-game skid last night with a 6-to-2 victory over Fresno State. The 'Bows improved to 15-and-27 overall and 4-and-12 in the Western Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs dropped to 23-and-22 and 11-and-8. Gregg Omori had a three-run double in the fifth inning to give Hawaii a 5-1 lead. The Rainbows got their final run in the eighth on a double by Danny Mocny. Hawaii also got an R-B-I apiece from Scooter Martines and Kevin Gilbride. Chris George pitched eight innings to pick up the win. The series continues tonight, with the finale set for tomorrow afternoon.
