(San Jose, California-AP) -- Adam Schorsher's ninth-inning homer lifted San Jose State to a 4-to-3 victory over the University of Hawaii today for a sweep of their three-game Western Athletic Conference baseball series. The Spartans tied the score 3-3 in the seventh on Schorsher's R-B-I single.
The Rainbows took a 3-0 lead in the second on Brian Bock's R-B-I double and a two-run double by Lane Nogawa. San Jose State scored two runs in the bottom of the inning. Kevin Frandsen drove in a run with a single, and Bryan Baker scored when Travis Becktel grounded into a double play.
Matt Durkin pitched a complete game for San Jose State. Ricky Bauer also went the distance for Hawaii. The Rainbows begin their final homestand of the season Thursday against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
