Bows Drop Game To LA Tech

(Honolulu-AP) -- Junior pitcher Adam Kirkendall went the distance, allowing only two hits, as Louisiana Tech shut out the University of Hawaii 7-to-0 last night. Kirkendall took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, and ended the night with eleven strikeouts. The Bulldogs scored the only run they needed in the second inning on an R-B-I single by Mike Hall.

Ryan Jackson hit a solo homer for the second night in a row. Sean Yamashita took the loss for Hawaii. The Rainbows play their final home game of the season tonight when they meet the Bulldogs in the deciding game of their three-game series.
