Chang Participates In Full Drills, Hopeful To Play

(Honolulu-AP) -- University of Hawaii quarterback Timmy Chang practiced today for the first time since breaking the pinky finger on his throwing hand two weeks ago.

Coach June Jones says Chang and backup Jason Whieldon will play in Saturday's opener against Eastern Illinois. Jones says the starter will be named at game time.

Chang says he'll accept any decision Jones makes. Chang wears a small brace made by trainers. He had been sidelined since August 15th with his broken finger, but he has been throwing lightly.
