The Warriors are looking to get back at the Pack. Last year the Warriors had a tough time up in Reno. The Wolfpack stung Hawaii with a 28-20 loss. That plus the fact that the warriors are coming off a 27 point loss last Saturday against Boise State equals a fired up Warrior football team.
Last season Nevada won just three games all season long. But one of those wins was an upset over the Warriors up in Reno. This year, the guys in green are looking to send the Wolfpack packing.
Nevada will hit Saturday's game minus a big piece of their offense. Running back Chance Kretchmer who last year led the nation in rushing yards is out with a knee injury, but June Jones says the Pack will still attack on the ground.
Saturday's game will feature the top two passers in the WAC. Nevada's Zack Threadgill and Hawaii's Timmy Chang.
It's the third home game of the Hawaii season. The Warriors and Wolfpack hit the Aloha Stadium turf at 6:05 Saturday night.
