Wahine Remain Perfect With Sweep Of Southern Methodist

(Dallas-AP) -- Hawaii's Kim Willoughby had 17 kills as the Rainbow Wahine remained perfect on the season with a three game sweep of Southern Methodist today, 30-24, 30-6, 30-17. Lily Kahumoku added 11 kills and seven blocks for Hawaii.

Hawaii improves to 15-0 overall and 5-0 in the Western Athletic Conference. The Wahine haven't dropped a game since a September seventh non-conference match against Washington.

The Mustangs fell to 8-12, 2-4 in the WAC. Katy Moffett led the Mustangs with eight kills. Leslie Lasiter added five blocks in the loss.

Hawaii is ranked Number Two in the USA Today American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
