Hawaii Defeats Notre Dame For Second-Straight night

(Honolulu-AP) -- Kim Willoughby had 23 kills and teammate Lily Kahumoku added 21 as Hawaii swept Notre Dame in women's volleyball for a second-straight night, 34-32, 30-18, 30-25. Lauren Duggins added seven kills and led Hawaii with four blocks.

Hawaii improved to 17-0 after the non-conference match. Since dropping the first game against Washington on September seventh, the Rainbow Wahine have now won 36 straight games in regular season action.

Emily Loomis had 13 kills for Notre Dame, which fell to 15-5 on the season.

Hawaii is ranked second in the USA Today-American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.

The Wahine return to Western Athletic Conference play Thursday against San Jose State at the Stan Sheriff Center.
